News

We just received great news that Community Jams is the recipient of a grant from the Fred W. Fields Fund of Oregon Community Foundation to support general operating expenses in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are very grateful to Doug Marshall who is leading our grant research team and helping us plan for the long-term!

COVID-19 Status

While respecting guidelines for preventing the spread of coronavirus, we are taking a break from our new studio space at 211 SE Madison St inside East Creative Collective, a centrally-located studio and gallery for artists. As we reopen with County phase 1 approval, we’ll start with outdoor jams in Portland. We’ll keep you posted on how we will be returning to our long-term studio space which provides full-time jam opportunities, including video and recording options.

Meanwhile, please join our new online meetups where we share, play, and collaborate on virtual music projects. If you’d like to brave the world of synchronized online jams, read our info on NINJAM and send us a message at play@communityjams.org.

And don’t forget to show Community Jams spirit with our shirts on Zazzle!
