News & Events
When the air quality returns to normal and City parks reopen, we will resume our jams at Sellwood Park on Wednesday evenings 5:30-7:30pm and Saturday afternoons 1:00-3:30pm. These are COVID-conscious, space-limited, reservation-only jams, so please let us know if you are interested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Or just drop by and listen to some live music – a rare event these days!
Meanwhile, tune in online to our friendly Twitch livestreams with back porch guests as weather permits. Just visit http://www.twitch.tv/communityjams/ on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 2pm and say hello in the chat window. Send us your requests and we’ll create live backing tracks of your favorite songs while you listen or play along at home!
Anyone out there interested in helping us with social media? We are looking for extra help as we navigate ways to reach the music community online. Drop at note at email@example.com
Don’t forget – we still rely on your donations to keep things running. Please consider one-time or monthly donations on Patreon to help us cover the costs of gear, online broadcasting, and holding our lease space until COVID clears up!
While respecting guidelines for preventing the spread of coronavirus, we are taking a break from our new studio space at 211 SE Madison St inside East Creative Collective, a centrally-located studio and gallery for artists. Throughout the summer we’ll jam at Sellwood Park on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm and Saturday afternoons 2-4pm. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn how to join these limited-space sessions!
We also host online meetups where we socialize and broadcast (livestream) backing tracks for you to play or sing along with at home. These meetups are presented through Zoom for our casual video chats or through our Twitch tv channel for regular musical broadcasts. If you’re more interested in the new world of synchronized online jams, read our info on NINJAM and send us a message at email@example.com.
