Sellwood Park jams are cancelled Saturday, April 24, due to rain.
Instead, visit our Twitch Online Play-along Jam at 6pm

Events

Keep jamming and rsvp on meetup.com to our online events:

Wednesdays: Sellwood Park Jams – Join us Wednesdays 5-7:30pm, weather permitting. Please rsvp at meetup.com. In inclement weather, we’ll replace the park jam with an online play-along jam broadcasted on Twitch with a patio musician when possible. Please visit http://www.twitch.tv/communityjams/ and add some requests to the chat window. We’ll create live backing tracks of your favorite songs while you listen or play along at home!

Thursdays: NINJAM asynchronous jams – Play online together through NINJAM technology, Thursdays at 7pm. Visit our NINJAM overview and rsvp at meetup.com.

Second Fridays: Zoom Open Mic Songshare – During second Fridays at 7pm, take turns sharing songs, riffs, or anything you are working on, no pressure for completion or perfection. Or just listen and support others! Join here:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6108263816    Personal Meeting ID: 610-826-3816.

Saturdays: Sellwood Park Jams – We’ll be playing together outside while we transition toward reopening our jam studio. Join us Saturdays 1-3pm or 4-6pm, weather permitting. Please rsvp at meetup.com.

Support us

We rely entirely on your donations to keep things running. Please consider one-time or monthly donations on Patreon to help us cover the costs of gear, online broadcasting, and holding our lease space until COVID clears up!

Can you help us with time and expertise? We are looking for support with grant-writing, promotion, and event organization. Drop us at note at play@communityjams.org

COVID-19 Status

While respecting guidelines for preventing the spread of coronavirus, we are taking a break from our new studio space at 211 SE Madison St inside East Creative Collective, a centrally-located studio and gallery for artists. We continue to keep musicians connected through online meetups that include park jams and online play-along jams broadcasting through our Twitch tv channel. If you’re more interested in the new world of synchronized online jams, read our info on NINJAM and send us a message at play@communityjams.org.
