Saturday park jams are located at Willamette Park, weather permitting. Remember to bring tablets, stands, and pay for parking.
Welcome! Community Jams is the nonprofit development of Portland Casual Jams, a network of 4000+ local musicians. We connect musicians of all abilities to foster community, compassion, and harmony by playing live music together. Our studio is centrally located at 211 SE Madison St in Portland, OR. Please schedule a visit with us through Meetup.com.

Monday Open Jam: Sing or play familiar songs with supportive collaborators at our Madison Street Studio from 6:00-8:00pm. RSVP

Monday Improv Jam: Explore a fun, different way of playing live, enjoying the fluidity of improvisation. At our Madison Street Studio from 8-10:00pm. RSVP

Wednesday Open/Beginner Jam: Learn to play together with favorite easy-to-play songs at our Madison Street Studio from 7-9:00pm. RSVP

Thursday Open Jam: Sing or play familiar songs with supportive collaborators at our Madison Street Studio from 7-9:00pm. RSVP

Saturday Summer Park Jam (or studio jam in inclement weather): 2-5pm at Willamette Park, 6500 S Macadam Ave, Portland, Or. RSVP

Community Jams just received a Small Arts & Culture grant from Fred W. Fields Fund of Oregon Community Foundation. This is a direct result of your enthusiastic participation, ongoing support, and collaboration in making Community Jams a valuable service for Portland musicians. Thank you all so much!

We rely entirely on your donations to keep things running. Please consider at least $20 per jam as one-time donations or recurring donations on PayPal to help us cover the costs of serving you at our beautiful studio.
