We connect musicians of all abilities in order to build community, compassion, and harmony by playing live music together. Our studio is centrally located at 211 SE Madison St in Portland, OR. Monday Improv Jam: Explore a fun, different way of playing live, enjoying the fluidity of improvisation. At our Madison Street Studio from 8-9:30pm. RSVP

Wednesday Open Access Time: Ask questions and discuss music at our Madison Street Studio from 6-7pm, every other Wednesday RSVP

Wednesday Newcomer/Explorer Jam: New to jams or exploring singing or new instruments? Relax with familiar, easy-to-play songs at our Madison Street Studio from 7-9:30pm. RSVP

Thursday Studio Jam: Sing or play familiar songs with supportive collaborators at our Madison Street Studio from 7-9:30pm. RSVP

Saturday Glam Jam/Potluck Studio: Join us for a casual jam with snacks at the studio from 1-4:00pm. RSVP

(Monthly) First Fridays: Singers are welcome to join a few of our backing musicians in a ‘live karaoke’ jam with familiar songs at the Community Jams studio from 6-8:30pm. Sing and browse artists work in and around our building in this monthly event. RSVP

Interested in making song charts for the bsteele Music App? ‘Fireside charts’ are being scheduled monthly, so send us an email at play@communityjams.org if you are interested. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our musician, Board member, and Technology Director Robert Steele, bsteele Music App is free and available on web browsers. Bookmark the app and jam!
