New year, new location, new events
Great to see so many of you at our new location at 211 SE Madison St. under the Hawthorne Bridge. The space is shaping up very nicely thanks to your continued support!
Work continues on the new studio, and we’re finishing our soundproofing over the next week or so. We’re finally getting ready to slap some paint on the walls this Tuesday. New displays are coming by weeks’ end, and we’re having fun all around. Come check out the new studio and get involved in the development however you’d like!
This Friday we’ll be hosting our corner of ‘First Fridays’ for the East Creative Collective. The local artists and businesses celebrate this event in open-house style, and we’ll be doing the same! Come show newcomers how much fun we have with our play-alongs, and how easy it is to make live music free from fear or rehearsal. We’ll be playing songs from our bsteele Music App to make things easy, so if you have a song that you’ve enjoyed at a prior play-along session, then bring it to this Friday’s event from 6-9pm.
We’ve got fun, casual play-alongs on Wednesday nights, Thursday afternoons, and Sunday afternoons. Our more robust ‘Fearless’ play-along occurs on Sunday evenings for those that like a bit more challenge. Our Thursday-night collaborative improv night is an absolute blast for those that like to create music freely with others!
Come join us in making music, reaching out to others in the community with our music, and most of all having fun!
